In this episode we take a brief look at Confessionalism, why we love them, and why you probably do, too. We also play our first round of Soundtracking. If you don’t know what that is, it’s because we made it up, and it will change your life.

Good information! I liked the soundtracking, although I’ve never thought to do this myself. It’s fun 🙂

    Sheer awesomeness!!!!!
The content is deep, entertaining, and just an absolute delight to listen to!!

Back when I was single, I was a die hard romantic, but marriage has thoroughly disillusioned me of all that nonsense, but how y’all put that country song into a biblical perspective, that’s gotta be the most Romantic things I’ve ever heard! Y’all should start a movie genre, Reformed Romance! It’ll beat the snot out of those goofy chick flicks! Lol

Added 2 tbsp of chili powder inetasd of 2 tsp to a sweet potato and pinto bean chili! My Mom and I had to keep eating greek yogurt to cool our mouths down!

I’ve actually played the sound-tracking game, although not with just any song. It has to be somewhat unique to get my imagination going to create a story for it. Still, lots of fun 😀

I appreciated the confessional explanation. Looking forward to hearing more sheology as the program goes on.

Never called it soundtracking but I always visualize images when I listen to music!

Real fun episode. I’m really interested to look into a comparison from the 1689 confession and the 39 articles. Mostly because I don’t remember all the differences from the class I took. -and because that is kinda my wheelhouse, history and development of Christian philosophy and theology.

(oh and what is with the ignoring of the Athanasian Creed? ;)named for the Guy who wrote the best defence of the doctrine of the trinity: On the Incarnation by Athanasius of Alexandria 😉 )

    keep up the good work!
