We are pulling from the annals of Sheologians history again this week to play for another episode you told us was one of your favorites. This episode originally aired January 5th, 2018, and it is an interview with our dear friend Rosaria Butterfield. It was such a blessing to record this conversation with her. Issues related to identity and sexuality (and the idea of sexuality being an identity) are at the forefront of our cultural conversations and Rosaria once again took us to school. What is identity? What is a Christian identity? Do things like race, gender, and sexual orientation make up who we are? Are these even the right questions to ask? We even go in to territory we didn’t expect because Rosaria explains how Christian hospitality is an important answer to dealing with these issues. We cried, we laughed, we cried laughing. Don’t miss this one.

I loved this episode! So much wisdom from Rosaria. Focusing more on relationships than on programs in the church, that is exactly what has been on my heart for some time now. And also the idea of having older, wiser women in our lives as well as ourselves fulfilling that role in younger women’s lives – all of that is so spot on to what has been stirring in my heart…
Thank you for sharing!!!
Sexuality is not an identity. And our children should not be expose to such as that.
As a Christian all people should be heterosexual. God created man and woman. Leave their parents.. Get married and populate the world through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
If only a world would be so perfect . But humans definitely are not perfect . But to identify themselves by their sexuality is a horrendous idea .
