The Reformation Project. Jen Hatmaker. Revoice. Living Out. Matthew Vines. There are all kinds of resources, organizations, conferences, and books out there from those who claim Christ to help you understand how to think about LGBTQ issues.

But what does the Bible say? That is what really matters! How a Christian thinks and feels and acts about this topic should be guided by the Word of God and it alone. It is the sole, infallible rule of our faith and practice.

There are six passages in Scripture that explicitly deal with the issue of homosexuality. In this discussion we are joined by Dr. James White to begin a two-week look at these passages and what they have to do with us today.

Hi! Thank you so much for this episode! It was so so good! I get so irritated (Not surprised) with the massive following of the liberal thinking of homosexuality. *cough**cough* Jen Hatmaker. Even seeing friends who are professing believers following so blindly. Truly heartbreaking. Can you write out the Big 6 references? Keep up the good work ladies!

    • JoEllen Bang

Yes! Please add the 6 references in writing! That would be super helpful

      • Rosemarie Mielke

        Yes! I think I copied all 6 down, but can you verify? Genesis 18-19, Leviticus 18, Leviticus 20, Romans 1, 1 Corinthians 6, 1 Timothy 1:9-10.

    So good!!

This episode is a direct answer to my prayer. I have been raised in a faithful church, but this is an area in which I need more explicit instruction. I desire so badly to know what scripture *really says* and these days it is harder and harder. God bless you for your faithfulness and detailed explanations.

  4. Charles L Laird

    Genesis 19, Leviticus 18:22, 20:13 – Romans 1:18-32(26-27) I Cor 6:9-10 I Tim 1:8-10 – this should help. Summer rattles these off pretty quickly.

This was a great listen of Dr. James White.

    • Helene

I am relistening this right now after learning that my youth leader came out as bi… It is so frustrating, especially since she and I used to talk a lot about what it means to be a woman after God’s heart and things related to love and identity…
Thank you for providing these amazing podcasts!
      Much love from Germany!
